You must know our beloved Stephen Hawking. He suffered through ALS while he was starting to experience a good life. The doctor had told him that his Life spawn would last for about 5 to 6 years. He was sad as he just started a good life and the ALS hit him somehow. But, there was a Cancer patient who was laying in bed nearby in the hospital. The patient was to die anytime, he was not assured of his life, his death was close. Everyday he would wake up and look at himself to see whether he was alive. Looking at him Hawking thought, when we have 5 years of assured living why waste it on sadness. He was motivated by the Cancer patient, who did not even know when he would die. From then started his Scientist life.
