Mountain pose (seated) is done by sitting down.
- There are different types of Yoga Asana, which can be done by different body activities like - standing, sitting, lying etc.
- Similarly, the Seated Mountain Pose or the Paravatasana is done in the sitting position. Generally for this asana, we sit down in a relaxed way, strech our hands vertically at the overhead position by interlacing our fingers.
- This asana helps to strech the upper portion of our body and also helps to relax the physical stress of our shoulders, trunk.
- The Paravatasana can be also done in standing position.
