mountain ranges are important coz, it protect rain bearing wind and protect from heavy rainfall. It protects from invasion and is helpful and suitable for agriculture. It also help in generation of hydro electricity in places where water flows and make waterfalls. It's mountain forest is helpful for farmers and it contains rich amount of minerals and fertile soil too.
