Movement is considered as an important characteristic of living organisms . But plants are fixed . Does that mean plants are non living . Why or why not

no physical movement is important but it is exceptinally done in plants. see in biology what we differentiate a living from a non living is the presence of metabolic activities as both plants and animals have ability to do metabolic actuvities whether by having a still position or by moving here and there
