Movies that we actually see are separate pictures but we a moving picture. How?

Some movies consist of different pictures with a small change in each picture. When they are moved very quickly we see them as one movie as if it is moving. This is because of the persistence of vision. Any image stays in the retina for 1/16th of a second. This property of the eyes is used to make these types of movies.

It's quite easy.... there are hundreds of pictures step by step clicked, they are moved at a particular speech which gives us an illusion that the picture is moving....
