Hey! Here's your answer!

Case I :-

u = 10 m/s

v = 15 m/s

t = 2 s

a = (v - u)/t

a = 2.5 m/s^2

Case II :-

u = 0 m/s

v = 15 m/s

a = 2.5 m/s^2

v = u + at

15 = 0 + (2.5)t

t = 15/2.5

t = 6 s

It has started 6 seconds earlier.

Hope this helps! :)
