MP of a chair is 37.5% more than its CP. If SP and MP both are increased by 44 4/9%, then profit becomes 3 times. If the initial MP of chair is Rs. 3850, then find initial SP of chair ?​

therefore the ratio between CP and MP will be 8:11

now the MP is given 3850=11*35 so CP will be 2800=8*35

Now it is given that the SP is increased by 44.44% which means if an item was 9units it becomes 13units

CP-SP=profit

as the profit becomes 3 times so,

CP-SP/CP-13/9*SP=1/3

after solving this we get CP:SP=7:9

as CP is 2800 so SP will be 3600.
