And A sold it to B at 20% profit .

So selling price is

S. P = C. P + profit.

S. P= x + (20/100)x

=6x/5

Now B sold it to C for 25% profit

So, S. P of A becomes C. P of B.

So,

S. P = (6x/5) + (25/100)*(6x/5)

=3x/2

And C bought it for ₹1500/-

That implies

3x/2 = 1500

x = 1000

So Mr. A bought it for ₹ 1000/- and sold it to Mr. B for ₹ 1200/-
