Answer:₹ 1000
Step-by-step explanation: let us consider initial cost price is x.
And A sold it to B at 20% profit .
So selling price is
S. P = C. P + profit.
S. P= x + (20/100)x
=6x/5
Now B sold it to C for 25% profit
So, S. P of A becomes C. P of B.
So,
S. P = (6x/5) + (25/100)*(6x/5)
=3x/2
And C bought it for ₹1500/-
That implies
3x/2 = 1500
x = 1000
So Mr. A bought it for ₹ 1000/- and sold it to Mr. B for ₹ 1200/-
