Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Son is 5 years old and Mr.Agarwal is 35 years old

If the son's age be x years.

 Mr.Agarwals age is 7x years.

So , After 10 years, his son's age will be = (x + 10) years

After 10 years, Mr. Ranjan's age will be = (7x + 10) years

By the given condition,

(7x + 10) = 3(x + 10)

7x + 10 = 3x + 30

7x - 3x = 30 - 10

4x = 20 or x = 5

Answer:

Son's age= 5, Father's age = 35

Step-by-step explanation:

Son's age = x

Father's age = 7x

The age of son = (x+10) years

The age of father = (7x+10) years

3(x+10) = 7x+10

3x+30 = 7x+10

7x-3x = 30-10

4x = 20

x = 20/4

x = 5

THEREFORE SON'S AGE = 5 YEARS

FATHER'S AGE = 30+5

= 35 YEARS
