Answer:

Profit = 6.67%

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of first lot = 30 (Given)

Cost of second lot = 50 (Given)

Selling price of both the dozens = 40 (Given)

Assuming that he spent a total of 150 for each of the lots  -

Thus, the price of first lot = 150/30 = 5 dz

Price of second lot = 150/50 = 3 dz

Total CP of both the lots = (5+3=) 8 dz = 150+150 = 300

Total SP of 8 dozen = 40 × 8= 320

Therefore Profit % = (Profit/CP)100

= 20×10/300

= 6.67%

Answer:

Mr. alphonso buys 2 lots of mangoes. The first cost him Rs 30 while second one costs him Rs 50. He sold both lots for Rs 40. Find his profit or loss percent if same amount of money was spent by him.....his profit or loss percent is Zero. I believe!

Step-by-step explanation:

Well lets see….what we have here are three things:-

Cost of first lot = Rs 30 per dozen.

Cost of second lot = Rs 50 per dozen.

So he spend Rs 50 + Rs 30 = Rs 80 for two dozen of mangoes.

Now he sold two dozen mangoes for Rs 80 which is Rs 40 per dozen.

As he spend Rs 80 for two dozen, so it is obvious that he spent Rs 40 per dozen, assuming he spent same amount of money on both lots.

His SP = Rs 40 per dozen.

His  CP = Rs 40 per dozen.

His overall profit or loss earnings = 0 percent (no profit or loss)
