Given :-

  • Mr. and Mrs. Modi went to a fair with their 2 daughters and 3 son.

To Find :-

  • What is the probability that a male will seat on first place of a ride ?

Solution :-

→ Total members in the family = Mr. Modi + Mrs. Modi + 2 daughter + 3 son = 7 = Total number of outcomes.

now,

→ Total male members = Mr.Modi + 3 son = 4 = favourable outcomes

then, we have,

→ Required probability = favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes = (4/7) (Ans.)
