1st day given candies = 3

2nd day given candies = 9

Ratio = 3:9

= 1:3

2nd day given candies = 9

3rd day given candies = 27

Ratio = 9:27

= 1:3

This means Mr. Santiago will give thrice more candies than the candies given on before day, every day.

And the common factor is x, x^2 , x^3 and so on
