  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of expression.

       Given data:- Arun earns 9500.

                            His wife earns=8000.

To find:- the ratio of their earnings.

       Solution:-

  • The Ratio is expressed as A:B.
  • It compares two quantities.
  • It shows the relationship between two quantities having the same unit.

       \Rightarrow \frac{9500}{8000}\\\\=\frac{19}{16}=19:16.

Hence, the ratio of arun's income and his wife income will be 19:16.
