The required ratio would be 133:201.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Mr. Bhansali's salary is increased by 50 % and then it has been decreased by 33%.

So, Net change in salary would be

50-33-\dfrac{50\times 33}{100}\\\\=17-16.5\\\\=0.5

So, his new salary would be (1+0.005)x=1.005x

mr. Black's salary is increased by 33% and then it has been decreased by 50 %.

So, net change in salary would be

33-50-\dfrac{33\times 50}{100}\\\\=-17-16.5\\\\=-33.5\%

So, his new salary would be (1-0.335)y=0.665y

According to question,

Bhansali's salary = Black's salary

1.005x=0.665y\\\\\dfrac{x}{y}=\dfrac{0.665}{1.005}=\dfrac{665}{1005}=\dfrac{133}{201}

Hence, the required ratio would be 133:201.
