Solution :-

given that,

→ Original Price of watch = Marked Price = $91 .

→ Discount = 5% .

we know that discount is given on MP.

So,

→ Mr. chan recieved discount of = 5% of $91 = (5 * 91)/100 = $4.55 .

therefore,

→ Mr. Chan pay for the watch = MP - Discount = 91 - 4.55 = $86.45 . (Ans.)

Hence, Mr. Chan pays $86.45 for the watch.
