share=200

MV=f.v+premium

=50+100

=Rs.150

Investment =150*200

=30000

Total investment =30000+brokerage

=30000+20

=30020$

He sold 100 share at discount of 10$,

MV=40$

shares =10

amount for 100 share=40*100

=4000$

amount received =4000-brokerage

=4000-20

=3980$

He sold 100 share at premium of rs. 75

mv=125

amount for 100 share =125*100

=12500$

amount received =12500-20

=12480$

dividend =50 percent

divedend=50/100*50

=250/10

= 25$

dividend for200 shares =25*200

=5000$

Total amount received after selling shares=5000+12480+3980

=Rs 21460$

he incurred loss

loss=30020-21460

=8560Rs
