Jumbo Traffic
Policeman: Stop, sir ji. Where do you think you are going! This line is for people coming from the tunnel, not you, going toward the tunnel!
Mr. Das: Um, apparently an elephant wants to go through the tunnel too–
Policeman: Oh no, dear, come on! You aren't that fat for an elephant. Though I can bet my beard on it, you pig out with no work out! Now take out five hundred rupees! Fine for driving on the wrong side.
Mr. Das: But, sir, I had no choice but to choose this side to drive through the tunnel!
Policeman: Why, sugar? A whole lane has been paved for you to go through the tunnel with no hassle! You think this is the wall of death? Why, let's go driving in the opposite lane to remind people what the real direction is!
Mr. Das: Not at all, I respect all your traffic rules and the toil the government did to get two separate lanes to avoid the traffic. But the matter–
Policeman: My, I thought you had to be born last week for invading cars coming in your direction! But from your face, anyone would say you look deranged. What is the matter?
Mr. Das: It is wildlife on the road. You've got to see the other lane- because there will be other cars, too, driving here to remind people what the real direction is!
Policeman: Pooh, wildlife?! These small matters keep happening on big roads. Next time, shout my name and I will run to your rescue!
Mr. Das: Sir, this matter is a little big. It is bigger than me, and you. It is actually bigger than the whole tunnel. Here, can you see that gray line over there? That is a tail. And that grayish thing that looks like a cloud on earth? That is His Majesty's rump! The entire thing, He is the Mighty Animal of the Jungle, a fully grown ten-foot giant elephant, out of the bush to wear the crown and rule over the humans! I should get going. All the best, officer!
Dialogue Writing
→ A dialogue writing consists of a conversation between two or more people. Its purpose is to aware the reader about the idea being discussed in a more effective way.
→ The dialogues written are the exact words said by the speaker. First, we write the speaker's name, then a colon, and then assign the dialogue.
→ The dialogues should be inter-related, like in a real-life conversation. This is important so that the reader can easily decipher the meaning of the dialogues.
