The ratio of the marked price will be 1:1

Let the marked price of Dharmesh shah be X and mr. Verma be Y.

Now Mr Dharmesh Shah offers successive discount of 5% 15% .

Hence, the first selling price of Mr. Shah will be x-x*5/100=0.95x.

Now he gives a discount of 15% on this price.

Hence final selling price will be 0.95x-0.95*15/100=0.95x-0.14x=0.81x

Similarly, Mr Verma gives a successive discount of 8% 12%

Hence, after first discount the selling price will be x-0.08 y=0.92 y

After second discount the final price will be,

0.92y-0.92*12/100y=0.81y

Given, ratio of their final selling price is same.

Or,0.81x=0.81y

Or,x:y=1:1
