Mr. Gessler was not successful in his trade because he did not know the tricks of modern business. His shop was not attractive. He made perfect boots but he took a long time to make them. He also could not advertise his business. He was left with little work and gradually his business suffered. and big firms got more orders and he got less orders and he always used to do boots well..and he also says that big firms has no self respect
