Let the age of rekha be r

let the age of goel will be g which is equal to r+27 i.e g=r+27--------->1

and given after 8 years he will be twice as old as Rekha's i.e.,  .g+8=2(r+8)--->2

on solving the above equations we get

r+27=2(r+8)-8

r=19 and g= r+27 =46
