Mr. Iyyer had common cold and throat infection. Doctor prescribed an antibiotic.
(a) which pathogens could have caused the infection?
(b) what is the mode of actions of antibiotic?
(c) Mr. Iyyer recovered from throat infections but he still had common cold. would the doctor continue the antibiotics further. state yes/no giving reasons.

a) virus (Retrovirus in general)
b) not sure about it
c) no, doctor won't continue antibiotics, he can prescribe some pain suppressing drugs but immune system of patients body will handle the common cold by it's own, by continuing antibiotics on virus we are exposing the virus and helping it improve against antibiotics.
