Mr jitesh can walk a certain distance in 40 days when he rests 9 hours a day. How long will he take to walk twice the distance twice as fast and rest twice as long each day?

Answer:

he walks 24-9=15 hr a day

suppose his speed is 1 km /hr

total time he walked= 15*40=600 hr

distance covered=600 km

now distance is twice i.e 1200km

speed is twice i.e 2 km/hr

rest is also twice i.e 18 hr a day

so he walks 6 hr a day

distance traveled in one day=6*2= 12 km

total days= 1200/12= 100 days.
