Cost of pair of slippers = 580.75
1385 + 580.75 = 1966.5
The question is wrong I guess as if he gave 1000 rupees so he would have to pay 966.5 rupee more.
But if gave 2000 rupee so the answer is 2000 - 1966.5 = 33.5
So if he gave 2009 rupee so the cash he got back will be 33.5
