SI =P* R *T/100

=2500*12/100*7/2

=1050

A=p + si

=2500+1050

=3550

4000-3550

=450

so, 450 rupees is needed

Answer:

₹537.5...

Step-by-step explanation:

Deposited Amount(Principal)=

₹2500

Rate of interest=11%p.a

Time=7/2years=3.5years

Therefore,

S.I= P×R×T/100

=2500×11×3.5/100

=962.5₹

So,

Amount=P+S.I

=2500₹+962.5₹

=₹3462.5

Hence, Withdrawaled Amount=

₹3462.5

Cost of dressing table=₹4000

Therefore,

More needed money will be,

₹4000-₹3462.5

=₹537.5

Hence, Mr.Kannan need ₹537.5 more to buy the dressing table....
