Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: Nick helped the poor. (Active)

The poor was helped by Nick. (Passive)

Mr Khan is known to me. (Passive)

I know Mr Khan. (Active)

Hope it helps :)
