Mr Khurana bought two plot of land the dimension of the first plot is 20 m by
15m 50 cm and the dimension of the
second plot is 8 m 40 cm by 50m. Which
plot has a larger area and by how much?​

SOLUTION:-

1st Plot's Dimension  =  20m by 15 m 50cm

                                   = 2000cm by  1550cm

2nd Plot's Dimension =  8m 40cm by 50m

                                    =  840cm by 5000cm

WE KNOW:-

AREA = $m^{2}$

∴ Area Of 1st dimesion = 2000cm ×  1550cm

                                       = 3100000cm

                                      = 31000m

  Area Of 2nd dimesion = 840cm × 5000cm

                                       =   4200000cm

                                      =  42000m

∴THE SECOND PLOT IS BIGGER BY 42000m - 31000m = 11000m
