South African Prior president mr Mandela is one of the great leader because during the pre independence of South Africa. He worked really hard to get the freedom for the whites as the colored and the blacks were not getting the freedom they wanted. In 1964, Mandela and his co-accused were transferred from Pretoria to the prison on Robben Island, remaining there for the next 18 years. And other 9 years in other jail . After the independence he became the first president of South Africa due to the effort he made against the independence. This is the reason he would be the greatest leader of the nation.
