In 21 years Mr. Mani’s age is double John’s age.

Given:

present mani age = 47 yrs

present john age = 13 yrs

To Find:

In how many years will Mr. Mani’s age be double John’s age?

Solution:

Let in 'x' yrs  Mr. Mani’s age be double John’s age.

Then, 47 + x = 2(13 + x)

47 + x = 26 + 2x

x = 47 - 26

  = 21 yrs

Therefore, In 21 years Mr. Mani’s age is double John’s age.
