Mr. Manjeet bought two bags for Rs 650 each. He sold one of them at a gain of 6% and the other at a loss of 2%. How much did he gain?

Gain on 1st bag = 650×6/100=39


Therefore s.p of 1st bag =650+39=689

Loss on 2nd bag =650×2/100=13

Therefore s.p of 2nd bag =650 - 13=637

Total s.p=689+637=1326

Therefore gain=s.p-c.p ,1326 - 1300= 26
