Let the Mr. Mehra originally had Rs. 'x'
Gave to son = 1/3, gave to daughter = 1/5 and gave to wife = Rs. 91000
Now, according to the question.
x - (x/3 +x/5) = 91000
x - (5x + 3x)/15 = 91000
x - 8x/15 = 91000
(15x - 8x)/15 = 91000
7x/15 = 91000
7x = (91000*15)
x = (91000*15)/7
x = 195000
So, Mr. Mehra originally had Rs. 195000
