Given data :

So,the total surface area = [2×{(3.5×1.5)+(1.5×2)+(3.5×2)}] = {2×(5.25+3.0+7.0)} = (2×15.25) = 30.5 m²

So,the surface area excluding the open top = {30.5-(3.5×1.5)} (30.5-5.25 = 25.25 m² (answer)
