cp of the radio = rs20,000.
loss%=5%.
so sp of video =100-loss%/100×cp.
=100-5%/100×20000
95/100×20000=19000.

cp of telivision=rs30000
profit%=8%.
so,sp of tv= 100+profit %/100×cp.
=100+8%/100×30000.
108/100×30000=32400

now total cp (both of radio and television) =
20000+30000=rs50,000.
total sp=19000+32400=rs51400
since sp is more than the cp so Mr mehta makes profit in this sale......
profit=sp-cp
51400-50000=rs14
so profit%=profit/ cp×100

=14/50000×100
=7000%
