Cost of Video game = ₹18000
Cost of Television = ₹105000

Now, loss of telvision = 5%
 =  \frac{x}{105000}  =  \frac{5}{100}  \\  = x =  \frac{5}{100}  \times 105000
Thus, If we cancel the zeros,
x =  \frac{5}{1}  \times 1050
5 \times 210 = 1050
For the television, he incurred a loss of ₹210

Now, cost of videogame= ₹18000
Proft percentage of videogame = 17%
 \frac{x}{18000}  =   \frac{17}{100}  \\ x =   \frac{17}{100}   \times 18000
Now, cancel the zeros.
x =  \frac{17}{1}   \times 180
17 \times 180 = 3060

He gained a profit of ₹3060.

Tanishqj: it's not total gain you forgot to subtract it from televisions loss
