C.P = x
Loss = 5%

S.P = x - (5/100)x
= x - (1/20)x
= (19/20)x

==========================
If the watch was sold for 104 ₹ more , then ;

C.P = x
Profit = 8%
S.P = (19/20)x + 104

S.P = x + (8/100)x

(19/20)x + 104 = x + (2/25)x

104 = (27/25)x - (19/20)x

104 = (108x-95x)/100

13x = 10400

x = 800
----------------------------------
Hence the cost price of the watch is ₹ 800

The selling price
= (19/20)x

= (19/20) × 800

= 760 Rs.

Let the selling price be x

According to the question-
x - 5/100×x + 104 = x+ 8/100×x
