Answer:

When first kettle sold,

Cp=Rs1625

Profit %=20%

Sp=1625+20/100×1625

or,Sp=1625+325

SP=Rs1950

When second kettle sold,

Cp=Rs 1625

loss%=20%

So,Sp=1625-20%of1625

Sp=1625-325

Sp=Rs1300

Total sp=Rs3250

Total cp=Rs 250

Hence,

No profit and loss happened

Answer:

loss percent = 4%

Step-by-step explanation:

If both SP are equal , overall loss percent

 \frac{ { - x}^{2} }{100}

Hence = -20 * 20/100 = -4%

(or)

Let take x, (1625-x)

x * 80/100 =( 1625-x) *120/100

x = 975 and other = 650

SP = 780

To find total profit or loss percent,

= (total CP-total SP)*100/total CP

=(1625 - 1560)*100/1625

= 4 percent
