Mr. Nirala was the owner of a tractor and used it for the purpose of farming. Although, the tractor remains idle for 3 months in the year. Mr. Nirala decided to give the tractor on rent for 3 months.
Suddenly, there were some defects in the tractor that were cited by Mr. Nirala. Mr. Nirala went to District Forum to seek redressal but the manufacturer of tractor claimed that as Mr. Nirala had given the tractor on rent, he cannot be considered as consumer.
