Mrs. Packletide was daring and bold enough to go for hunting a tiger which was old and weak. She was not a good shooter. Inspite of all the arrangements, she was not able to shoot the old tiger who was walking very slowly. Instead of shooting tiger she shot the goat as she had missed her aim.

Really Mr packletide was a not a good shot because she killed the wrong animal but she became a good shot of her paid companion Lucia mebbin . she blackmailed mrs packletide into buying her weekend cotage.
