the time in which Mr. pathak travelled in a car= 30 min.= 0.5hr.
now,
now \: distance \: travelled \: by \: car \: = \frac{speed}{time} \\ = \frac{30}{0.5} = 15km

Okay lad, pay attention

We can write these measurements of speed as

( /=By )

X/30 = 22-X/18 = 1

We take the L.C.M of 30,18 = 90

Equating x/30 and 22-x to get 90 in the denominator.

We get -

3x + 110 - 5x = 90

2x = 20

X = -20/-2

which gives us the answer

10.
