Given :-

• Mr pemba bought 600 mangoes for Rs2625

• After opening the pack, he found 5 mangoes rotten.

Solution :-

Cost Price of 600 mangoes = Rs 2625

CP of 1 mango = Rs 5.25

As five mangoes were rotten

Therefore ,

600 - 5 = 595 mangoes left

Now,

Selling price of 595 mangoes = 5.25 * 595

SP of 595 mangoes = 3123.75

Here,

SP is more than CP it means he gains profit

Profit = SP - CP

Profit = Rs 498.75

Profit % = Profit / CP * 100

Profit % = 498.75 / 2625 * 100

Profit % = 19

Hence, He gains 19% profit after solding remaining mangoes .

{\boxed{\underline{\tt{ \orange{Required  \:  \: Answer:-}}}}}

彡GIVEN:-

  • C.P. of 600 Mangoes = Rs. 2625

  • C.P. of 1 Mango = Rs. 5.25

彡TO FIND:-

  • Gain or Loss percent.

彡SOLUTION:-

According to question,

5 Mangoes are Rotten, So he selled

 :  \implies \tt{600-5 = 595}

So, He sold 595 Mangoes

1 mango cost = Rs. 5.25

So, 595 Mangoes Cost = 595 × 5.25

595 Mangoes Cost = Rs. 3123.75

Now, SP > CP

Therefore , there is profit.

Profit = Sp - Cp

Profit = 3123.75 - 2625

{ \boxed{ \underline{ \mathbb{ \pink{Profit = 498.75}}}}}

 \tt{Profit  \% =  \frac{Profit}{CP}    \times 100}

Profit \% = \:  \frac{498.75}{2625}  \times 100

 : \implies{ \boxed{ \underline{ \mathtt{ \purple{Profit\% = 19\%}}}}}
