Let, Mr. Iyenger's income be, 'x'

20% of x = 20x/100

                = x/20

So, Mr. Puri earns  =(x+x/20)

                            = (20x+x)/20

                            = 21x/20

∴ Mr. Iyenger earns less than Mr. Puri =(21x/20)-x

                                                            =(21x-20x)/20

                                                            = x/20

∴ Mr. Iyenger earns less than Mr. Puri by =[{(x/20)/(21x/20)}*100]

                                                                   = (x*20*100/20*21x)

                                                                   = (100/21)

                                                                    = 4.76

                                                                    = 4.8% approx.
