Answer:

gain =3417

Step-by-step explanation:

principal =Rs.24000

rate=5% p.a

time =3 years

C.I.= 24000×105/100×105/100×105/100= ₹27,783

C.I. is ₹27,783

27,783 - 24000 = 3783

Mr.rajendra gave Rs.24000 to Mr.saranat at the rate of 10% p.a. at the simple interest for 3 years

S.I. = 24000×3×10/100 = ₹ 7200

profit = 7200 - 3783 = 3417

he was profit of ₹3417.
