Answer:

2000=80 notes

500=160 notes

100=200 notes

Step-by-step explanation:

given,

Mr. Ram has currency notes of  denomination Rs. 2000, Rs.500 and Rs.100..

The ratio of number of notes is 2:4:5.

we don't know how many notes each carry so,

let the ratio of currency notes of 2000,500,100 is 2000* 2x : 500*4x:100*5x

4000x: 2000x: 500x is the total

If he has a total cash of Rs.2,60,000.

4000x+2000x+500x=260000

6500x=260000

x=40

so the number of notes be

2000 is 2x

2*40=80

500 is 4x

4*40=160

100 is 5x

5*40=200
