Mr. Rehman's PNG bill for the given period is Rs. 3006.9.

Given:

gas consumed by Mr. Rehman = 78 SCM

minimum charge = 10%

tariff price up to 45 SCM = Rs. 29.5

tariff price above 45 SCM per month = 42.61

To Find:

Mr. Rehman's PNG bill for the given period

Solution:

tariff charges for the first 45 SCM units = 45 × 29.5 = 1327.5

tariff charges for the units above 45 SCM units = (78 - 45) × 42.61

= 33 × 42.61

= 1406.13

Total charges = 1406.13 + 1327.5 = 2733.63

minimum charges = 10% of 2733.63

= 0.1 × 2733.63

= 273.363

PNG bill = 2733.63 + 273.363

= 3006.9

Thus, Mr. Rehman's PNG bill for the given period is Rs. 3006.9.
