No. of Bulbs = 650
Cost of 1 Bulb = Rs. 10
Cost of 650 Bulbs = 650 × 10 = Rs. 6500
No. of Defective bulbs = 50
No. of working bulbs = 650 - 50 = 600
Cost of 600 = 600 × 10 = Rs. 6000
The bulbs are sold at 0% profit now.
Thus 15% of 6000 = 15/100 × 6000 = 15 × 60 = Rs. 900
15% on the whole transaction = 6000 + 900 = Rs. 6900
Thus when the bulbs are sold at 15% profit rate it would cost Rs. 6900
Hope it helps!
