Solutions :-

Given :
Mr Sharma earns a monthly salary of rupees 20,000.
He saves 10% of it every month.

Find the total earing in a year :-

1 months = Rs 20,000
12 months = Rs 20,000 × 12 = Rs 240,000

Find the total saving in a year :-

Saving of a year = Rs 240,000 × 10%
= Rs 240,000 × 0.10
= Rs 24,000

Hence,
He saves Rs 24,000 in a year.
