Solution:-

Let the age of son be 'x' years

therefore his father's age = 5x years

Father's age after four years= 5x +4

Son's age after four years=x+4

Therefore

By the problem

5x +4 =4(x +4)

=> 5x +4 =4x +16

=> 5x -4x =16 - 4

=> x= 12

Therefore son's age if 12years and father's age is (4*12)=48 years

This the answer.

Son's age = x

Mr. Sharma age = 5x

After four years :

Son's age = x + 4

Mr. Sharma age = 5x + 4

(He will be four times as his son = son's age = 4 ( x+4)

➡️ 4(x+4) = 5x + 4

4x + 16 = 5x + 4

16 - 4 = 5x - 4x

12 = x

So,

Son's age = x = 12 years

Mr sharma = 5x = 5 × 12 = 60 years

Hope may be it correct!!

Thanks!!
