answer to your question is 047333......km/h

arya2005: speed=distance ÷time
lucky0111: find the square root of the by prime factorization. 28900. write in copy plz
veerkamal: I know but write how you calculate
arya2005: value of kilo is 1000.Distance =384-100=284m=284/1000 and Time=6hr then find the speed
veerkamal: but why u put the value of kilo??
arya2005: as it is told to find the speed in kilometre
veerkamal: ok, sorry
arya2005: it's ok
veerkamal: I thought u have written kilograms
veerkamal: thanks

The starting reading on the odometer was 100

On reaching Chandigarh, it was found to be 384

So, it means that the distance between Delhi and Chandigarh/ the distance travelled by Mr.Sharma was 384-100 m = 284m.

Converting this to km as we have to find the speed in km/hr....

284m = 0.284km (since, 1000m = 1 km ).

Time= 6 hrs

The relation between speed,distance and time is given as follows:

Speed= Distance/Time

= 0.284/6 km/hr = 0.047 km/hr.

The speed in km/hr was 0.047.
