4 books. 25 books were in very bad shape and were kept aside. 19 books

Let the total number of books that Mr Usman collected be , 'x'

Then From the question ,

Number of needy students present that day was = 563

Number of books each student got was = 4

Number of books that were in bad shape = 25

Number of books left after distribution = 19

a. How many books did Mr Usman bring?

The total number of books that Mr Usman collected =

[(Number of needy students present that day ×Number of books each student got) + Number of books that were in bad shape + Number of books left after distribution ]

$\implies$ x = 563×4 + (25+19)

$\implies$ x = 2252 + ( 44)

$\implies$ x = 2252 + 44

$\implies$ x = 2296

b. How many books were there in each box?​

$Number\; of \;books \;in \;each\; box = \dfrac{Total \; number \; of \; books(x)}{Number \;of \;boxes }$
