Answer :-

Given :-

Let total weight of vegetables be (x kg)

Weight of onions = 2 kg

Weight of tomatoes = 13 kg

Weight of potatoes = 2 - 2/4 kg = 2 - 0.5 kg = 1.5 kg

Solution :-

⇒since, total wt. of vegetables = wt. of potatoes + wt. of tomatoes + wt. of onions

⇒x = (1.5 + 13 + 2) kg

⇒x = (1.5 + 15) kg

⇒x = 16.5 kg

∴ x = 16.5 kg

Therefore total weight of vegetables brought by Mr. Verma = 16kg 500g (or) 16.5 kg
