Mr Vikash is 22yrs elder than his son. After 10 yrs ,he will be two time his son's age. Find their present ages​

Let the present age of son be x

Present age of Vikash = x+ 22

After 10 years

Son's age = x+10

Vikash age = (x+22) + 10 + x+32

Now, According to question,

Vikash age = 2× Son's age

x+32 = 2× (x+10)

x+32 =2x + 20

NOW ARRANGE THE EQUATION

x-2x = 20-32

-x = -12 ( here Lhs negative sign will be cancelled by Rhs negative sign)

so,

X= 12 ( sons age)

vikash present age = x +22

= 12+22=34 yrs old
